What Are The Costs Involved?
A Poly Rainwater Tank can cost anywhere from $400 to $7,500 depending on size, style, special transport requirements and so on. Metal-Aquaplate tanks can be anywhere from 30% - 40% more in costs when comparing a Litre versus Litre Rainwater harvesting cost. Specialty shapes or custom-made tanks tend to be more expensive than a traditional Round Poly Tank or Poly Slender Slimline Tank. We have a huge range covering all Domestic and Rural applications to help with any need or building situation.
If we don’t have a particular tank, we can source and obtain it for you and/or point you in the right direction, all as part of our customer service.
All our domestic range up to 11,500 Litre poly tank capacity come with a 400mm inlet strainer with stainless mozzie proof gauze, High Level Overflow Platform so you don’t lose water capacity by drilling into the side walls like many tanks, 90mm overflow fittings and outlet with mozzie proof gauze-strainer, and depending on the tank, several brass outlets formed into the wall of the tank. 1 wall brass fitting is in the wall of the tank at bucket height for obviously filling buckets and/or obtaining a jug of tank water for your own use. We also include a Watermark Approved Ball Valve.
Please be careful when shopping around, that you do compare 'apples with apples', that anyone you speak to can produce an independent licence to prove that they meet the Australian Standards, which is critical. Don't just shop on cost alone as this is fraught with danger and may we remind you again, QUALITY IS NOT EXPENSIVE, IT IS PRICELESS !
Further, when also comparing Artesian Rainwater Tanks against others, be sure that you are also receiving the 25mm Watermark Approved Ball Valve (worth $25), that sadly is not offered in deals by many of our 'so-called' competitors.
